I always encourage others to have fun with their designs and make them unique. Every character is like a person, and no two people will ever be exactly the same. That's the beauty of creation. ♥I do not use nor do I condone the use of Generative AI.
Art made by the human hand at the end of the day will always be better than something being "replicated" by a computer. Humans will never be perfect and always practice their skills with every new piece, we can never reproduce the exact same thing twice. Every single piece is unique.

Paint.net (Editing)-----• How long have you been drawing?For as long as I can remember. I've been a digital artist for over 15 years now, give or take. I'm entirely self taught and still learning through the tools I have available to me, and from my peers as well.
Anyone can do it if they try, no matter who they are.-----• When are you open for commissions?I prefer to take small batches at once, usually 3-4 at a time. Openings will be announced via socials (Bluesky and Mastodon primarily).
I may also do private openings via Discord for friends and trusted clients only.-----• Will you accept alternative forms of payment (i.e. Steam games, Amazon wishlist, gift cards, etc)?No, sorry. If you cannot make a payment via a payment processor (i.e. Stripe, Square, PayPal), please do not commission me.-----• Do you accept trades/requests? Will you collab?Requests are always a no. Trades and collabs are for people I'm close with and trust, even then I still don't do them much due to time constraints.-----• Will you draw XYZ? I do not currently offer reference sheets, comic pages, or sticker/emote pages.-----• Do you stream?In short, no. I don't have the time or energy.
I do not offer private commission streams either.If you are concerned about my process, I am more than happy to provide additional WIPs by request! Please inform me at the time of ordering.-----• Do you use AI?Absolutely not. It should be pretty obvious that I am vehemently against generative AI being used in commissions.
I do use a lot of assets from Clip Studio, such as 3D models, backgrounds, and brushes, but I do not use AI in my work.-----• Will you do base edits?Yes! The only prerequisites are that I must already own the base and have permission to use it for profit. Ask me for my library!
I cannot edit a base I do not already own nor will I accept files from you.

• Complexity & Additional Fees:
• All pieces come with simplistic or gradient backgrounds.
Simple settings (i.e. sitting on a bed) may be available, dependent on the theme.
Fully rendered backgrounds are currently not available by request and are left to the artist's discretion. This is subject to change in the future.• Alternate variations (i.e. add a secondary outfit) are available upon request, however a fee may be applied dependent on the style and complexity of a commission.• Complexity fees in addition to the base price may be added depending on the character design (i.e. wings, extra limbs/multiple heads, scales, tattoos, complicated designs, etc), poses, clothing, and/or type of background.
The level of complexity will be decided by the artist and will vary based on the style of commission.• I will not charge complexity fees for mobility aids, however I am not well adept at drawing them so please keep that in mind. I have no problems with disabled characters, but I may or may not be the artist for you.* Refusal to comply with additional fees means that I have every right to omit or simplify certain details (i.e. hiding wings, simplifying horns/scales), request a different character, or deny the commission altogether. This is not up for debate..:A note about busts:.
I can add your name or turn it into a badge free of charge, this will not count towards the "alternative version" fee.
However, I will not print and ship badges to you. I will send you the transparent PNG file to print, cut, and laminate yourself.
Terms of Service
By commissioning me and agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge that they apply to any commission you receive.
Should you violate the following terms, you will be blacklisted.
• General Terms:
In this context, I refers to myself as the artist. You refers to you as the client.• You must be at least 18 years or older to order from me.• All work I create is copyrighted to me as the artist. I do not claim ownership over your character(s) or idea(s). You are paying me for my service.
Finished work is only for personal use by the client or recipient; commercial use is prohibited. I currently do not offer commercial licensing at this time.
I do not grant consent for my work to be used for any AI/LLM related purpose (training, modification, "enhancement", etc) nor minted as NFTs/Cryptocurrency.• I reserve the right to use your finished commission for my personal portfolio, and may or may not choose to display it in my public gallery as I see fit.
* Should you, the client, request for your commission to not be published, a 50% privacy fee will be added to your total as compensation.• I additionally reserve the right to deny any commission for any reason.
* Please note that I will not accept orders from completely blank accounts (no icon, bio, or previous interactions), or accounts less than 20 days old for security purposes.• You are allowed to repost your finished commission with credit to HuskybeanArtz across all platforms. Please use the version specified for reposts, the high resolution version is for personal use only.• You are allowed to use your finished commission for profile pictures, banners, etc; credit is preferred. You may not trace, modify, or use my work as a "base" of sorts without explicit permission. You may not remove my signature or watermark, nor claim my work as your own.• I do not distribute PSD files to clients; all finished work will be provided as a PNG.• You are responsible for saving and backing up your finished commission upon delivery. I am not responsible for lost files.
• Ordering Process:
• I speak English. I understand language barriers exist, however please communicate as clearly as possible to avoid misunderstandings that may affect the final outcome of your commission.
I have boundaries; respect them. I do not expect clients to be formal, however please do not attempt to flirt or roleplay (RP) with me.• Keep in mind my Commission Restrictions before placing an order. Feel free to ask for further clarification if needed!• Visual references are encouraged, I do not always work from description. I will NOT accept any IRL nudity.
A clear, flat colored digital reference of your character(s) is REQUIRED to complete the ordering process. Additional images may be provided.
I do not accept 3D models or AI generated images.
* Complexity fees may apply; please see Pricing for further clarification.• If you are ordering a commission on behalf of someone else, or plan on using their character, you may be asked to provide proof of consent or they may otherwise contact me directly.
• Payments & Refunds:
• All payments are in USD through invoices. I take payment via Stripe or Square. CashApp is limited to trusted friends and clients only.
* I do not accept Cryptocurrency.--Shipping Disclaimer--
All my sales are digital goods, I do not offer shipping nor should the client expect a physical product. Occasionally a product may be marked as "Not Shipped" by the payment processor, this is a glitch. I am not required to ship a digital item.• Payment is required within 48 hours of receiving the invoice. Should you need additional time to pay, it needs to be discussed before the invoice is sent. Unpaid slots will be cancelled.
* I will not wait longer than week for payment; if you cannot pay within the allotted timeframe, please do not place an order.• Payment plans may be arranged for orders $150 or more, with a 30% non-refundable downpayment required up front. You will receive the initial sketch and the commission will be finished after payment is received in full.
* Payment plans must be discussed at the time of ordering and may not exceed 2 months.• Refunds can be arranged at at any time before the final stages of completion (80% or more complete), however FULL refunds are only available for commissions that have NOT already been started.
* You will receive a partial refund if the sketch has already been completed.
Partial refunds are as high as 70% and as low as 20%.• Tips and donations are considered gifts and will not be refunded.• I am not financially responsible for your relationships; if something happens between you and the other party involved during the commission process, I am willing to discuss alternative options however I will not refund an already completed commission.• I reserve the right to initiate a refund mid-commission if I feel that it's necessary for my own health and/or wellbeing; you will receive a partial refund and your commission at its current stage of completion.• Chargebacks at any point during or after a commission will not be tolerated and you will be blacklisted. If there is an issue, please contact me first.
• Edits & Revisions:
• I retain some level of freedom when working with your character. Your character will be drawn in my style, and some colors may be slightly tweaked for better results.
I, under no circumstances, will replicate another artist's style for you.• Sketch WIPs are always provided by default (with the exception of wing-it commissions); additional WIPs are available by request at the time of ordering.
* Structural edits must be kept to the sketch stage only, you will be granted three (3) initial edits with every additional edit being subjected to a small fee. Please be concise, I do not accept "as you go" edits.• No structural edits will be made after the lining stage; color corrections can be requested before the piece is finalized. Once a commission is approved of by the client and finalized by the artist, no further edits will be made.• Please keep in mind that I, the artist, am a human being. Mistakes can happen, politely correct me. However, you, the client, are responsible for clear communication. I do not take responsibility for missing details that aren't on the reference nor were mentioned previously.
* Artistic freedom is artistic freedom, please do not change the idea halfway through.
• Progress & Turnaround:
• My average turnaround time for a normal commission is roughly about 2-3 weeks. Larger commissions may take longer.
* Individual turnaround times apply from the time I start to the time I finish a commission. These may vary depending on outside factors.• If you want a commission completed on time for a special occasion (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays), you must give 2-3+ weeks advance notice depending on the size of the commission. I will not accept shorter deadlines nor do I tolerate being rushed.• I generally work in order of payment and may work on multiple projects at a time. If you see me working on 2 other people ahead of you, do not fret when yours has not been started yet.• Progress is updated via Trello. Please check your individual card(s) before reaching out for an update. (Click on cards to expand them; I post progress updates here.)
* Excessive update requests (3-5 times a week) will not be tolerated and your commission will be cancelled and refunded.• I may work on personal projects during weekends or between commissions; this is to prevent burnout. I am not ignoring your commission and it will be finished.• I will send major updates as I have them, or if delays should arise. Please respond in a timely manner if possible. The longer I have to wait on you, the longer your commission will take to complete.• My hours of availability and business email can be found under the Contact tab.

This is the best time to contact me and does not reflect my overall work schedule.

* I do not use Telegram nor will I add clients on Discord (as it is for friends only).• Messages with no subject line or are unrelated to business inquiries/updates will be discarded. Please get to the point. You don't have to be formal, just be polite.
* If you're not sure what to say then "Hi, are you open for commissions?" or
"Good morning, may I ask for an update?" are really good examples! Anything is better than just "hi" and nothing else!
