I'm an Aries, I've been in the fandom for well over a decade, and support the LGBTQIA+ community, especially other artists. :DA huge interest of mine is cute or interesting characters, so originality is key. I always encourage others to have fun with their designs and make them unique. Every character is like a person, and no two people will ever be exactly the same. That's the beauty of creation. ♥Art made by the human hand at the end of the day will always be better than something that can be replicated by a computer. Humans will never be perfect and always practice their skills with every new piece, we can never reproduce the exact same thing twice. Every single piece is unique.

FAQ

• What do you use to draw?- Tablet: Intuos Pen & Touch (Old version; formerly), XP-Pen Artist 10 (2nd Gen)
- Program(s): Paint Tool SAI (Formerly), Clip Studio Paint (Currently)
Paint.net (Editing)-----• How long have you been drawing?- For as long as I can remember. I've been a digital artist for over 15 years now, give or take. I'm entirely self taught and still learning through the tools I have available to me, and from my peers as well.
Anyone can do it if they try, no matter who they are.-----• When are you open for commissions?- I prefer to take small batches at once, usually 3-4 at a time. Openings will be posted via socials.
I will also do private openings via Discord for friends and trusted clients only.-----• Will you accept alternative forms of payment (i.e. Steam games, Amazon wishlist, gift cards, etc)?- If you cannot make a payment via a payment processor (i.e. Stripe, Square, Paypal), please do not commission me.-----• Do you accept trades/requests? Will you collab?- Requests are always a no. Trades and collabs are for close friends, even then I don't do them much.-----• Will you draw XYZ? Will you draw [insert commission type here]?- I have a list of restrictions linked in my ToS.
If you don't see something or still need additional clarification, ask.What you see on my price list is what I generally offer; I'm willing to discuss pricing for static icons, and busts can be turned into digital badges by request.-----• Do you stream?- No. Please do not ask for private commission streams.If you are concerned about my process, you are free to request additional WIPs at the time of ordering and I will happily provide them!-----• Will you do base edits?- Yes! The only prerequisites are that I must already own the base and have permission to use it commercially (i.e. make profit from edits).
I cannot edit a base I do not already own nor will I accept files from you.
* This is also the only way to get explicit 18+ work from me (I do not draw hard pornographic material under normal circumstances).

Chibis

Sketches

Loose, sketchy lines with loose coloring and simple shading (if applicable).
Sketches are offered as either busts or thigh-up, and are available in monochrome or colored variants.Sketch commissions are wing-it pieces and no WIP will be provided.
* You may provide specifics, however the rest will be artistic freedom. This includes the background.
* These are intended to be more of a "coloring book" style.Base Prices

• Complexity & Additional Fees:

- All pieces come with simplistic or gradient backgrounds.
Simple settings (i.e. sitting on a bed) may be available, dependent on the theme.
Rendered backgrounds are currently not available by request and are left to the artist's discretion. This is subject to change in the future.- Alternate variations (i.e. add a secondary outfit) are available upon request, however a fee will be applied dependent on the commission type and complexity.- Complexity fees in addition to the base price may be added depending on the character design (wings, exaggerated/excessive limbs, excess scales/spines/runes, complicated designs, etc), poses, clothing, and/or background.
The level of complexity will be decided at the artist's discretion and may vary based on the type of commission.
|Complexity chart coming soon.|- I will not charge complexity fees for mobility aids, however I am not well adept at drawing them so please keep that in mind. I have no problems with disabled characters, but I may or may not be the artist for you.* Refusal to comply with additional fees means that I have every right to omit or simplify certain details (i.e. hiding wings, simplifying horns/scales), request a different character, or deny the commission altogether. This is not up for debate..:A note about busts:.
I can add your name or turn it into a badge free of charge, this will not count towards the "alternative version" fee.
However, I will not print and ship badges to you. I will send you the transparent PNG file to print, cut, and laminate yourself.

Terms of Service

By commissioning me you agree to my terms listed below. Failure to comply may result in being blacklisted from all future commissions.

• Terms of Use

I as the artist:- May update my ToS at any point in time with or without notice.- Am fully within my right to deny a commission for any or no reason.- Will not draw in a different style other than my own. I will not recreate nor mimic another artist's style.- Retain all rights to my work.
You are paying me for my service, I do not offer commercial licensing.- May post your finished commission on my social media pages.
* If you would like for your finished commission to remain private, a 50% fee will be applied to your final total as compensation.
This fee will not apply if the client has requested to remain anonymous or postpone sharing the commission for any given reason.- Am not required to keep your commission in my gallery, or post it at all if I feel it does not represent me or my style. I do not owe you an explanation.- Do not distribute work files (PSD) to clients. You will only receive the finished PNG.- I do NOT under absolutely ANY circumstance consent to my work being used in AI programs, nor do I consent to my work being minted as Crypto currency or NFTs.-----You as the client:- Agree that you are or over 18 years of age at the time of ordering.- Are still bound to the TOS and its contents as long as you have purchased or received artwork from me at any point in time.- Are responsible for saving your finished commission upon delivery. I will not act as a personal backup if you fail to save your files. (I clean my files every 4-6 months.)- May reupload your commission upon completion with credit to HuskybeanArtz across all platforms. You do not have to wait for me to post.
* Please use the low resolution version when sharing as it is Glazed. This will be clearly labeled when receiving the finished files via email.
* If you are not the client or character owner, DO NOT repost my work.
* I would personally prefer for my work not to be posted to sites such as Twitter/X, DeviantART, or e621 if at all possible. Please and thank you.- May NOT redistribute my work for monetary gain. You are NOT to sell physical or digital merchandise that features my artwork.- May crop or resize your finished commission for personal use such as profile pictures, banners, etc, as long as credit is given somewhere on your profile.- May NOT remove my watermark or signature, or claim my work as your own.- May NOT alter, or trace my work without explicit permission.
This includes but is not limited to: Coloring, recoloring, redrawing, or turning my work into a "base" of sorts.
In addition, this extends to reaching out to another artist to alter my work on your behalf.- Are NOT to use my work in any form of AI program, nor to mint as Crypto or NFTs under absolutely ANY circumstance.-----

• When Ordering:

- Please understand I will not take orders from new (under 30 days old) or blank accounts (no PFP, no bio, no posts, etc) unless I know you.
If you've recently moved accounts, please inform me of who you are.- I speak English. I will try to communicate as clearly as possible, but please at least have a basic understanding or use a translator if necessary.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however miscommunications are possible due to language barriers and may affect the final outcome.- Please keep my Commission Restrictions in mind.
Feel free to ask questions at any time for additional clarification!- Respect my boundaries, do not attempt to RP or flirt with me. I am not seeking nor do I owe you any form of non-professional relationship.- If you would like to use someone else's character, I require consent from all parties. I request that additional parties please contact me directly.
* Please inform me at the time of ordering if this is a gift and if you would like me to postpone sharing it so you can surprise them.- Please provide a clear idea of what you would like. You are welcome to include visuals for poses, clothing, expressions, etc if necessary.
I will not accept any IRL nudity.- I do not work off descriptions. I will not design you a character.
Please provide a clear, flat colored visual reference or image.
* Additional images are encouraged. I will not accept 3D models with heavy lighting or AI generated images period.
* If you do not have a reference, there are plenty of free to use bases and programs such as GIMP, FireAlpaca, and Krita to get started.- Please refer to my Pricing tab for further info regarding complexity fees.-----

• Payments:

- Payment is in USD via invoice. I accept Stripe, Square, and PayPal*. CashApp will be offered for friends or trusted clients only.
* As of 2025, I am no longer accepting PayPal unless you do not have any other viable payment method where you live (view Stripe availability here.)
I do not and will not accept cryptocurrency.-- Shipping Disclaimer --
All my sales are digital goods and only digital goods. At no point in time should I nor the client expect a physical product. Occasionally a transaction is marked as "not shipped" by the payment processor. I am not required to ever ship an item unless it was explicitly discussed between myself and the client prior to payment.- I require payment up front before starting your commission. You will have 48 hours to pay upon being invoiced or your commission will be cancelled.
If you require additional time, please inform me in advance. I will not wait longer than a week before outright cancelling your slot.- Payment plans may be arranged for large pieces exceeding $150, however the commission will not be completed until the payment has been received in full.
* Please notify me at the time of ordering if you are interested.
* This plan may not exceed 2 months.
* A 30% minimum non-refundable down payment is required up front, in which you will receive only the initial sketch until the outstanding balance is paid.-----

• Refunds:

- Refunds can be arranged at any time, however a few things to keep in mind:
* I am only able to give a full refund on commissions that have not yet been started.
Partial refunds will be given on commissions that have already been started to compensate for my time and work.
* I cannot give refunds on commissions that are in the final stage(s) of completion.
* Tips, donations, etc, are considered gifts and therefore non-refundable.- If you decide you would like a refund after the initial WIP sketch has been sent, you will receive 70% of the initial payment back and the sketch will be repurposed.- I am not financially responsible for your relationships. If you and a partner or friend have a falling out mid-commission, I cannot offer you a full refund; however I am willing to discuss alternative options for finishing your commission if it has not already reached the final stage(s) of completion.
Once a commission has been completed, any form of compensation will no longer be available and you will receive the finished piece as it is.- I reserve the right to refund a client mid-commission for any given reason. You will receive both a partial refund and artwork at the current stage of completion.- Chargebacks will not be tolerated. If you have an issue, please reach out to me.
Chargebacks will result in being permanently blacklisted.-----

• Edits/Revisions:

- Please understand that I retain some level of freedom when working on your commission. Your character may not be drawn exactly one to one with the ref if my style does not allow for it, or I may tweak pure white/black colors for better results.
If you want your character to look a certain way (i.e. your fox OC has a flat face instead of a long snout), that must be specified at the time of ordering.- Sketch WIPs will always be provided by default for all commission types except wing-it commissions.
* Additional WIPs may be requested at the time of ordering and will not be provided otherwise. Please inform me up front if you would like them.- Please keep structural edits to the sketch stage only. You will be granted three (3) initial edits, then every consecutive edit will be subjected to an additional fee.
I do not accept "as you go" edits, please be concise with your requests.- Once the sketch is approved of, lining will begin and no major edits will be made during or after this stage.
Edits requiring change of pose, outfit, or character will not be allowed at this point.
I will only make adjustments to the colors and/or markings during the coloring stage.
* Once coloring is approved, no further edits will be made to the piece at any point.A few things to keep in mind:
* I am a human being. If I made an obvious oversight, politely correct me.
* If an important detail is not on a reference, please inform me ahead of time.
* "Artistic freedom" is just that. Do not change an idea halfway through.-----

• Progress and Turnaround:

- My overall turnaround time may range anywhere from a few days to a couple months, depending on other factors.
Average turnaround for one piece is generally within 2-3 weeks.- Individual turnaround time applies from the time I start to the time I finish a commission, not from the time it was ordered to when I finish. Times may vary.- I do NOT accept hard deadlines. Please do not ask for or expect them.
* I have no tolerance for being rushed. Life happens and I cannot guarantee all work will be completed at the exact same pace.
* Should you need your commission done before a certain date, I would suggest ordering 2+ weeks in advance to provide ample work time.- If you see me working on personal art, I am not ignoring your commission. I'm not a machine and need to take breaks to prevent burnout.- Progress is updated via Trello.
I would strongly advise checking your card prior to contacting me for updates.
I will still provide them upon request, however frequent update requests (i.e. 3-5 times a week) will not be tolerated and your commission will be cancelled.
* My hours of availability can be viewed under the Contact tab.- I work in order of payment. I do not offer priority slots outside of deadlines. Please be patient if you see me working on someone ahead of you in the queue and your commission has not been started yet.- The longer you, the client, take to respond to updates, the longer it will take me to finish your commission. Please try to respond in a timely manner if possible. ♥
